Happy Wolverine Wednesday! We have some exciting announcements...
 

The flag football season is rapidly approaching so I wanted to let you know what you can expect in the coming weeks.

Communication

  • Email is our main method of contact so please be sure to update your profile with all applicable addresses
  • Facebook is updated regularly so go "like" our page
  • Schedules will be posted online via our website where you can sign up for text and/or email alerts

Flag Assessment

  • Will be held at Elite Fitness on Saturday 2/20 from 11am-1pm
  • If your participant is unable to attend, they will still be drafted to a team

Teams

  • Teams will be announced on Wednesday 2/24
  • Teams will consist of anywhere from 7-10 players each
  • Each team will have a different color game shirt for players to wear each week

Games

  • Games will be played at White River High School each Saturday in March
  • The first game will start at 9am, the last game will be finished by noon
  • The number of teams will determine how many games each team has each week.
  • The game schedule will be published on our website on or before Wednesday 2/24

Coaches may ask for players to arrive shortly before their game start time for a quick "practice", however there are no additional time commitments during the week for flag football.

Happy Wolverine Wednesday!

We have some exciting announcements for you about our upcoming 2016 tackle football and cheer season so let’s get right to it!

Still Time to Register for Flag Football and Cheer Clinic!

Don’t forget to register for Flag Football and Cheer Clinic. Both will take place at White River High School on Saturday mornings beginning Saturday 3/5.

  • Flag football fee is $35
  • Flag Football skills assessment and draft will happen on Saturday 2/20
  • Cheer Clinic is $45 for those under 9 years, 10 years and up are $60
  • Cheer clinic is being taught by React All Star Cheer and Tumbling
  • We are still looking for sponsors! For just $50 their logo goes on the back of each flag football and cheer clinic t-shirt.

New Equipment Coming Soon!

We are thrilled be able to be replacing and adding to our equipment this year. The first post season purchase was new cheer mats for our cheerleaders! Anyone who helped move the wrestling mats last year knows how hard those things were to move and they weren’t the safest either. This year we will be using EZ Flex ultra-lite cheer mats that are light weight and super portable. These mats will be making their debut at cheer clinic, so register now to be the first to test them out!

We have also ordered a new concessions trailer! Our concession trailer is a staple at practice and games and we rely on the funds raised by concessions. The new trailer will be a huge asset to our organization and we are looking forward to unveiling it on the Flag Football sidelines in March.

Last but not least new football jerseys for 2016! We have heard your requests and after much thought and deliberation we can announce that the players will be getting new jerseys for the 2016 season with their names on the back. Here are the highlights:

  • Players must attend jersey fittings before their jersey can be ordered
  • Personalization includes the players’ desired number (numbers will be assigned by seniority) and their last name on the back of the jersey
  • The jersey will be yours to keep at the end of the season
  • The cost of the jersey is just $20! The cost will be in addition to the registration fee.

Registration for 2016 Season is Now Open!

Early registration is now open for the 2016 Football and Cheer Season including Competition Cheer! In order to ensure we have enough equipment and in the appropriate sizes we have set deadlines for registration. Below is the timeline and pricing structure:

  • Returning participants can register online now through February 29 for $175 for football, $125 for sideline cheer.
  • On March 1 registration will be open to the public for an additional $25
  • For anyone registering after June 1 a $25 late registration fee will be applied
  • Registration will close on June 30 in order for fittings to happen and uniforms to be ordered or tailored in time for our regular season
  • If your cheerleader wants to participate in competition there will be an additional $35 fee to cover competition entrance fees.
