Flag football has come to an end and we are rapidly approaching the fall football season!
Online registration is going on now for Tackle and Fall Cheer, including Competition squad. We will have an in-person event on Wolverine Wednesday 6/3 at Elite Total Fitness, however spots are filling up fast, so don't procrastinate.
You do not have to pay at time of registration! Simply register your player and scroll to the very bottom of the page. You can then click "Back to Registration" or simply close the page. Full payment will be due before gear hand out in July and can be paid online or in person via cash or check.
The following dates have been release by the NJFL as it pertains to our season. *Please note that they are subject to change with little or no notice.
Saturday 8/22 @ TBD, WRHS - Mandatory player weigh ins. Your football player MUST weigh in prior to our first game. If you are unable to attend the weigh in on 8/22 let us know now so we can schedule a different date/time for you.
Below is a list of events coming up within our community that the Wolverines are supporting. If you're available to help by volunteering or just support, wear your Wolverines gear and join us. We'd love to see you!
Friday 5/29-30 - Buckley Relay for Life. We are pleased to announce that the Wolverines will have a team walking in Relay this year at Glacier Middle School. If you'd like to join our team, please sign up here. There is no registration fee or fundraising obligation.
Friday 5/29 @ 6pm - Concessions at Buckley Relay for Life. The Wolverines will be selling concessions at relay fueling walkers in the fight against cancer. If you're available to work in concessions or just don't want to cook, come to Glacier Middle School and see us!
Saturday 6/27 @ 12 Noon - Buckley Log Show. The Wolverines will be a food vendor during the log show raising money to continue to support our community and our football and cheer programs. If you're available to volunteer please sign up online, or just stop by and get lunch.

If you have a passion for cheer and want to inspire the youth in our community, this may be the opportunity for you! The White River Wolverines are looking for energetic people with cheerleading experience to lead our squads. Here is a little bit more about the volunteer positions available:
This volunteer position is responsible for coaching young athletes in grades K-9 in competitive Cheerleader techniques to prepare them for events or competition. This position motivates athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport.
Works with cheerleaders during practices and games.
Assesses skills and assigns team positions.
Develops a regular practice schedule and organizes practice time to provide both individual and team development.
Coaches and instructs cheerleaders, individually or in groups, regarding the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport.
Observes cheerleaders, during events and practice to determine the needs for individual or team improvement.
Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior and provides proper supervision of youth at all times.
Follows established procedures in the event of an injury.
Follows state, regional, and league regulations governing the program.
Models sports-like behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards cheerleaders, officials, and spectators.
Participates in special activities to include the Pep Rally, Davis Day and End of Season Banquet
The time commitment is practices 3-4 nights per week from 6-8pm with games each weekend from August 1 thru November 7.

The Wolverines are looking for others to join our Relay for Life team. The Wolverines will have a team walking in Relay for Life this year as well as selling their famous concessions, including the Wolverine Burger, at the event on Friday May 29th and Saturday 30th at Glacier Middle School.
There is no fee! Joining and walking in Relay for Life is free and the Wolverines have taken care of the fundraising obligation. If you and your family would like to participate please click here to register. Please remember that our concessions fulfills our fundraising obligation, so don't be intimidated by our goal!
