JUNE EVENTS

Agility sessions open to everyone this summer!

Starting June 26th, agility sessions will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 7 pm at Foothills Elementary.  Registration with the Wolverines organization is NOT required.   This is free to anyone who wants to participate.   This is a great chance to keep your young athlete active over the summer months and conditioned for the upcoming sports season.

Buckley Log Show - Parade

Calling all Wolverines to join us in the Buckley Log Show parade this Saturday.   

Wear your Wolverine apparel and show your Wolverine spirit!  All football players and cheerleaders past, present and future welcome to be a part of the parade.

Details

Meet up:  9AM at Glacier Middle School Sign (entrance on C Street)

Bring:   Water & your Wolverine spirit

Wear:   Sunscreen, Wolverine spirit colors/attire (this includes Davis Day attire)

End of Parade:   Parents meet us at the end of the parade in the Buckley Library Parking lot.

Thank you to Pivetta Brothers for letting us ride along with you!

 

IF YOU ARE RUNNING LATE and arrive after 9:15 at the Middle School sign, look for the Pivetta Brothers truck and other Wolverines in the parade line.

 

AUGUST EVENTS

Football and Cheer Practice

Starts Wednesday August 1st from 6pm to 8pm!

Location:   TBD

Practice to be held on Monday through Thursday from 6 to 8 pm during the month of August with exception of this first week's practice which starts on Wednesday.   **See additional information specific to football and cheer practice below.

Gear Handouts: August 1st at 1st practice  

Fundraiser packets handed out:  August<-- at gear handout

Football Jamboree

August 18th/19th - Times to be announced

Location:  TBD

  • Schedules will be published closer to the event.

Football Weigh Ins - Mandatory

Option 1:  August 11 - Sparks Field - Puyallup 

Option 2 (final option):  August 19th during Jamboree. Location: TBD

  • Players MUST have both birth certificate and report card from prior year on file and account fully paid.

 

**Tackle Football Practice

Players need to...

  • Wear shorts
  • Wear practice jersey
  • Wear Cleats
  • Bring mouth guard
  • Bring helmet
  • Bring water 

 

**Cheer Practice

Cheer needs to wear tennis shoes, have their hair in ponytails.   Fake nails and jewelry are not allowed.

 

Please come prepared with extra water!  Watch the weather and be prepared for the hot summer days.  Be sure to get your player hydrated early!  Start drinking plenty of water now.   Parents, you may want to bring shade for yourself too!   Safety is our top concern!

Tackle Football and Sideline Registration NOW OPEN

Tackle football and sideline cheer registration now open to ALL families.   Click HERE to register!  $100 deposit due at registration and remaining balance due by June 30th.  

 

Tackle football registration - $275  

Sideline Cheer registration - $175; Spirit pack - $160

Mandatory Weigh Ins for Tackle Football!  2 Dates available, more info to come.
